A Little About Myself

My name is Patricia, Tricia, Allen.  I am from Rochester, NY and I moved to Georgia in 2004.

I have BS in Earth Science from SUNY Brockport.  Although a facsinating subject as I love nature, it was never my passion.  During college, I also studied all of the other sciences including Chemistry, Biology, Physics, and Physiology.

I love science but I also found I loved helping other people.

After I had my children, they had some health issues and we started doing the Specific Carbohydrate Diet in 2004 per Elaine Gottschall's, Breaking the Vicious Cycle.  This helped myself and my children tremendously.

After I got divorced, I went to massage school and became a licensed Massage Therapist.  I really enjoyed the work and my clients but soon realized that all physical body issues that did not involve physical trauma were caused by a poor diet or poor assimilation of nutrients.

I decided to attend the Nutritional Therapy Associations distance learning classes and, what can I say, this was some of the best education I had ever received.  It was a combination of lectures and 3 weekends where the whole class got together in Hartford, CT.  This is where I found out about the GAPS Book and Diet.  My amazing teacher from the NTA, Caroline Barringer, was helping Dr Campbell-McBride put together her Practitioner Training Classes.

By this time, I was feeling better than I had ever had in my life.  My "fibromyalgia," migraines and autoimmune hypothyroidism were a thing of the past.  I woke up feeling energized, calm, and alert.

The GAPS training was an amazing experience and along with the education I received through the NTA, I became a competent, compassionate, knowledgable health practitioner.

Every client has brought new challenges, new knowledge, and the unbelievable results of healing that can happen with the GAPS Diet and Protocol.

We are meant to live and heal and the GAPS Diet will help you accomplish this.

Have a health filled day,

Tricia Allen
